I’m looking to have calls go to my voicemail no matter where they come from. Currently, if the call is from an internal extension to me, it goes to my voicemail after about 4 rings, but an incoming call from the outside world to my DID, goes to the general delivery voicemail.

Make sure it Appears and Rings at your DN, and make sure the Prime Line is your Target Line # and not the default recpt. #.

If you are using any kind of night service you have to change the settings under control sets for lines and for ext's. if you do not change the control sets for both lines and sets when you turn on the night service the call will default to the gen delivery mailbox. Make the control set for both match the ext you want the call to go to.

setting it to private was the quick fix but dewey was on the right track something on your target line prog. was wrong you can leave it set to private but now you won't be able to add that target to no other set...
