For the past 12 years our main DID of 8000 has been directed to the att console. The problem is we never had a att console and I need to direct that 8000# to DN 1255 I was told there is a seperate pswrd Had a tech come and try but could not get to it any one wanta try :}

Not sure about the password but it sounds as if you'll probably need to IDC (Incoming Digit Convert) that DID 8000 to that number 1255, this is done in LD/OverLay 49 and select that table in the appropriate RouteDataBlock Print it first in LD 21 and Change in LD 16

There are other ways but I guess this is the most appropriate

Cheers !!

what switch do you have... .. if you dial 8000 internal what do you get? if you print the dnb 8000, what does it show... what load was the "tech" to use that required a second level pwd?

ld 49 will work IF you have idc yes on the rdb.. simple one step incoming digit conversion..

if you dial 8000 external, then trac the phone that answers, your provider can be sending 1255, if so the provider would need to change the target

This easy. Ld 15 chg/ ATT/ATDN to a # not being used and then I could scr 8000 where I need.I Don't know what that tech was talking about another pswrd.
