Hey Guys,

I have two Definity PBXs, both communicate over a Microwave for interoffice dialing. There is also an AAR route from one PBX (A) to dial 8 and dial Long Distance numbers on the other switch (Switch B). My problem is, I cannot figure out how the PBX (A) is pushing through calls on on PBX B without the use of Remote Access codes...

1. 8 is a FAC that point to AAR.
2. AAR Analysis Points to Route Pattern 1
3. Router Patter 1 points to Trunk Group 2 and Inserts a 9

That's it!!! I don't see any reason why users are able to make those calls.

Do you know a number the user's are dialing that go accross the systems that shouldn't work? Try using list ars route chosen XXXXXXX to see how the system is routing the call. Just put the number in, not the number and the access code. You could always try doing a list trace on an extension too to see what trunk it is using and figure out what ARS rule it is using to route the call.
