Hi.

I have a couple Dialog 4422 that I want to reset to factory default.
I've tried c*5 c*9 that I found in some comment on this board, but it doesn't seem to work. The phone reboots but it still has the config it last downloaded from the server. And no, it's not connected so that it can download it again.

Versions are R3A/R7C/R3L

You must have a phone with article code DBC 422 02 otherwise this function is not implemented in the FW.

The phones are DBC 422 02/01001.

I think I read something about that the function was implemented in R4-something... And we have R7 on ours.
I think it's strange that the phone does reboot when pressing c*9, but it doesn't reset anything...

OT: "Someone" must have selected wrong... Can I change "IS/IT--Management"??

OK, then it should work.
It is important that you first enter admin mode by key sequence c * 5 (ring signal will acknowledge this) and then C * 9.

Done that. If you're not in admin mode c*9 doesn't work.

It should work like that according to everything I read. I'm starting to think it's a bug or something...

I have tried this as well.. and found it does not work...

Why dont you changed the the config file to a default and one and reboot the phone????
it is the most likely the easyest way to do it.

"I wish I was @ 127.0.0.1

Our phones are DBC 422 02 and I still can not get pass through C * 9. Is there a document providing detailed instructions on how to reset 4x20/4x22 back to factory defaults ?
