I have a number of 4223 handsets of various revisions working on this BP250. Tried to add a new handset (same rev) but it doesn't fire up. The fourth one touch button illuminates but no display.
Tried holding down the headset key as previously suggested, still no good. Tried 3 other handsets from same supplier. Same issue with all.
Any ideas to assist would be appreciated.

years ago they had hardware locks so MD110 phones would not work on BP and vice versa because for some strange reason pricing was different
on the 2 systems

I think this is the well known epedemic fault.
We changed hundreds of phones with these fault.
Mostly it happens when it is getting warmer (over 25 degres Celsius is
too warm for these phones [thumbsdown])

Thanks guys. I think its best I return the phones to the supplier..
