Hi, Installed a BCM50 with Lan/Cte licences.
Lan cte works ok, as from the client PC's they can use PCM and dial out ok.
They are using Outlook 2003, and having problems getting this to pick up TAPI line.
Changed respective settings in Dialer.exe to pick up TAPI line, but still no go.

Any pointers on this one.

Thanks in advance.

Try this from Outlook select contacts right click on a contact select (call contact) window appears select (dialing options)then select dial using (LanCTE-EXT)and OK. Then select (dialing properties) create (new location) insert a (9) for local and long distance calls. This should take care of it if not uninstall LANCTE and reinstall making sure all other programs are not running on PC.

Tried all that. In Outlook 2003 you do not get the LANCTE EXT in the drop down box.
If we go to Start/Run/Dialer.exe, we can set the phone settings up to use the LanCte Ext no problem. Modem properties are set up ok.
Customer clicks on contact, and when they try to dial the number, nothing happens.

Just an update to this.

The only way to get this to work is by making sure the telephone number in the contacts is set for +44 xxx xxxxxxxx
(Obviously this is for the UK setting).

Now works OK
