Dialing up to another machine with Visual Basic

Hi guys,

I want to connect to an XP machine from another XP machine with dialup networking by visual basic coding with certain user ID and password. How can i do it? Does VB have any function like this? Please help....I am totally new to this. Moreover when it will connect, it should show me some kind of parameter that it is connected. How can i do it from VB?

Read up on TAPI, and how to use the APIs. Alternatively, I believe there's some sort of telephone control out there somewhere, and you can look for that.
