Dialing Timeout Issue

When dialing on our Norstar system, say you hit the "9", then the area code, and forgot the number, so you look up to verify the number to dial, the system times out after about 5 seconds and you get a fast busy and have to dial again.

Is there a way to program the system so you can have a bit longer to dial in the number?

Yes
You can change the time in programming under the heading of "dial time out.

depending on the version and login type u have ...it may or maynot be visible
under system programming
