Good day,
A new telephone company open in our region, the issue is that our CS1K cannot dial this new numbers or prefex. It just rings busy when dial. I need to be pointed in the correct direction to reslove this matter. Can you please assists.

what are you calling a prefix? Do you mean an NPA or an NXX? An Area Code or exchange. What is the number you can't dial?

NXX? Are you in the USA? Do you use NXX in your country? I would have guessed it is an SPN, or a number in LD 49. We might need an International person to answer this. Let us know your country.

NXX's are programmed in LD 90. They require an RLI as to how they route out. Sample:

REQ prt
CUST 0
FEAT net
TRAN ac1
TYPE nxx

NXX 668

NXX 668
RLI 7
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

Just print out one of your NXX's and and you can probably point the new one to the same RLI. The RLI(Route List Index)is programmed in LD 86 which will point the call to an outgoing route.
