Dialing Out

Evidently at one time this company didn't want people to dial out from their desks. However, instead of assigning a class of service that would restrict this they put a time out on dialing from the phones. I can not find this time out any where. But you literally have to "rocket dial" on your phone to get a call to go out. Another words if its a new number to you, and you have to keep looking at it to dial, your phone will start ringing fast busy....
 
FIND THE RDB FOR THE TRUNK GROUP YOU ARE CALLING OUT ON THEN PRINT IT, LOOK FOR EOD UNDER THE TMR SECTION THIS CONTROLS HOW LONG YOU HAVE TO FINISH DIALING

man that is a strange solution for call rest. i guess we all see something new everday. your idt on the route could do that as well..inter digit timer.. if your not sure of the setting you need, just build a default route, the factory timers are very close. PRI's bypass most of these timers is you have bars built right.
