Hello all,

On Ip sets (i2004s and 1140es), after receiving a call and that call being logged on set under "new callers"...after scrolling to the phone number of one of the new callers, selecting it and pressing the dial key, the set only dials the first six digits. Anyone know where this problem may lie?
CS100e
Rls 4.5
up to date signalling server software (whatever it is now!)

Thanks for looking!

Roger

Hit Edit and insert the 9

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Sorry, I guess it wasn't all the information you needed. If you call the set from the outside, you view the "new callers". You see the NPA-NXX-XXXX. When you scroll to the number and select the "dial" soft key, it only dials the NPA-NXX (First 6). Can't find anything obvious in the set programming related to this. Wondering if this was some setting in LD 17 or 15 or perhaps the NRS that was clipping this at 6.
Thanks again

Roger

As I said in my first postHit the Edit soft and insert what ever you need to make a call on your system
ie: 91 if you do 11 digital dialing
9 if you do 10 digit dialing
9 delete 3 if you do 7 digit dialing

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

You can also use the DAPC feature that is automatically insert the leading 9 (or whatever) in front of the received number.

LD 15
FTR
DAPC YES
NPI (The type of dialing plan)
TON (The type of number)
i.e: NPI E164 - TON NATL - PREF 9
NPI E164 - TON INTL - PREF 9
NPI E164 - TON LOC - PREF 9
LD 16
RDB
DAPC YES
TBL (table number LD 15)

Thank you for that reply "dlesap". That was a hady tidbit whether it solves my problem or not. I will give it a shot in the morning.
