We have switched PRI carriers from AT&T to Nuvox. Everything is the same in PRI programming and routing except we are no longer able to dial international calls (011). The route configurations are still the same as before, the restrictions and permissions are the same as before, and everything else works the same as before -- except dialing 011. At first I thought it must be a Nuvox issue. However, when I trace the 011 call in LD 80, I get "No Termination" on the call. So the attempted call is not even getting out of the switch! 0 calls work -- I get the Nuvox operator. Does anyone have some ideas why these 011 calls are no longer being routed?

Have you tried direct selecting a trunk from a maintenance
phone and dialing an international call ?

To my shame I have not tried that yet. What would the success or failure of dialing an 001 call by directly selecting the trunk indicate?

it would show if the telco is the issue or the PBX. If it goes through its the PBX if not its the telco.

it would certainly verify the carrier is allowing 011 calls

Wouldn't a traced call that does not terminate indicate a switch problem?

Try dialing access code of the route you are using for dialing out. Carriers sometimes want 1011 others do not want it. See if dialing ACOD then the Internalial works. If not confirm what your carrier expects to see. Then build your SPN's on the PBX. I have both 1011 and 011 built on My PBX easier than always dealing with calls They cannot dial International.

Most "alternate" carriers disallow International calls until you call them and give them authorization, because of toll fraud. When YOU allow those calls, you become responsible for any fraud, from your PBX.
