Hello,

can anyone point me to the right dialer where we can program/customise to use with our own external software.

Tapi is working fine from windows dialer but we need something we can connect to our own program which will dail numbers for us one we click on a number on our software.

any help with be appreciated as we are currently stuck,

thanks

Is it a own developed software? In that case just integrate TAPI to it =)

Otherwise it depends on what software you're using.

Like mentioned above you can use TAPI and integrate it with your software. What is your software programmed in? Or is it just a software you bought?
If it's a webbased software you are using you can use the callto-command to trigger external applications.
There are click to dial software available so a Google search on such keywords may help you as well.

Hi, Our software is created on Ruby on Rails.

We are looking for some sort of integration which can dial numbers, record duration of calls, etc.

thanks

In that case you would need some kind of middleware that handles the communication between the PBX and your web application, either centralized or installed on the clients.

For statistics you'll probably be better of with Xima than trying to implement it in the same application.

'middleware that handles the communication between the PBX and your web application'

do anyone know of such software that we can use or purchase?

We are so stuck at the moment.

thank you

Many software companies have different solutions for this if you search google a bit.

I don't know if you're actually allowed to promote your own company here.
