Dial Up networking

Hi All I have sp2 installed and loads of hotfixes, since 1 of these have been installed i can now no longer dial into one of my modem for a telephone system. i get the usual login prompt but my keyboard doesnt work. i was told and i know that it works to remove all hot fixes since i noticed it wasnt working, I feel that this is wrong and i want to delete the correct one. i spoke to microsoft and they want 199 pounds of me. i hate them , cant speak english and told me i dont understand my own language. threw the phone down in the end, if only i had Bill Gates number.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I can understand your upset noting your verbage within this post. Can you remove the hotfix that last updated and created your issue?
Have you tried the manufacture website of modem to see if they have a fix or if anyone else is experiencing this issue?

When did this start happening, and how many Hotfixes are we talking about?

Have you tried the fix mentioned in this FAQ?

Have you considered deleting the Dial-Up account and recreating it?

By way of a workaround can you try the On Screen Keyboard (or even another Keyboard) to login? On Screen Keyboard is accessed via the Windows Key+U .

Maybe there is an Updated Driver for your current Keyboard?
