Dial-up networking does not save password

When first making a dial-up connection, It will save your password if you click the "save password" box. Then for some reason something goes wrong and the "save password" box becomes grayed out and it won't preform this function.<br>
Is there a fix for this or is it just another annoying thing that you have to ignore.

What you need to do is go into "Networks", under your control panel. Check and see if "Client for Microsoft Networks" is installed. If not, add it to your list of installed network components. That should let you save your password.<br>
