Dial up modem and cable connection

Could someone tell me if I can run a dial up and a cable connection together. With cable hook up I can't use my fax card. Is this possible and how do I config my system.

I can't understand why you would want 2 internet connections.. I think what you mean(?) is you want to use you Modem for faxing and your Cable connection for Internet (?). That should be no problem at all. You've obviously have the internet connection working since you posted here. Just configure you modem and load a faxing program.
