does anyone know how to make the dial tone timeout longer? right now its about 5 seconds. i can't seem to find it. i have a sx200icp rel 3

I don't think that is an adjustable parameter. However, from the documentation it appears the dial tone is presented for 15 seconds, then reorder tone is presented for the next 30 seconds, then lockout occurs.

its 15 seconds if you don't press anything but when you are trying to dial a number after pressing 9 it only gives you 5 seconds in between digits or it times out. any way to fix that?

You can change the ARS unknown digit timeout in form 4 to a longer time. Default is 5 seconds It affects things after you have dialled a valid ARS code. Be careful though, because it will affect the time it takes a call to go through when you have unkown digits to follow in your ARS tables.
