Hello Guys!

I need help with the eMG-80 System, regarding one timer.
The scenario goes like this:

the number is 06745-12345-101
then we dial 06747-12345-10 and for example we forgot what is the next DID number which is 1, then the line will break after 5 seconds.
the problem is we only have 5 seconds to think what is the DID number, after that line is broken, and we need to dial whole number again.

Do we have an option for this? as I have tried all the timers and failed to identify which is that.

Thank you!

Best regards,
RR

Inter digit timer:
This timer sets the maximum time allowed between each user-dialed digit.
At expiration, the user will receive error-tone.

Hello!

We've tried it but it did not work, it works only within the number Ex: 06745-12345, but whenever we insert the DID which is 101, that is where the prob starts, for example, we dial 06745-12345-1 and then you only now have 5 secs to dial the DID, if you did not finish the DID within 5secs the line will be broken.

Thank you for your response!

This will be the Enbloc timer, the lines are probably digital and the enbloc timer will be set at 5 secs, once the 5 secs is up from the last digit dialled it sends the string which is incomplete and fails. You can get round this by increasing the timer although you will have to wait longer for the string to be sent or you can change your handsets to enbloc sending where the handset will store the digits until you dial Send.

Strange problem...
Are you sure that your system disconnects the call and not the other side?
If it is a isdn or sip line you can verfy this with a trace.

Thank you bpafc and xs650 for your responses,

we identified it and the problem lies with the provider side not on the PBX. but we are still on the issue.

Best regards,
RR

Hello Guys,

I have found the problem, it lies in the Flex DID timer.

Thanks!
