Hello.. How is it possible to dial shortcodes from Non-Avaya SIP phones.. I need to park calls from a Grandstream DP720 cordless phone but unable to find a way to perform hook flash. Any ideas?

You should be able to dial shortcodes from almost any phone but I recall there is something in the dialplan on Grandstream phones that needs changing if you want to dial *

can you transfer calls from the phone?

if yes then you need a shortcode for the park similar to this

1101
Call Park
101
Line ID doesn't matter

and of course
101
Unpark
101

then simply transfer the call to the 1101 to park and 101 to pick up again

Awesome, thank you, just like IPOHEAD said, my issue was that Grandsterm dial plan was not accepting "*" , to prove it I used Westi method and it worked just fine . Much appreciated.
