Does anyone know of an easy way to give two analog sets an exception where the AC1 code is auto-inserted (or not needed)? We have a piece of equipment that need to be connected to a CS1000E r5.0, and we can not reprogram the dial sequence on this equipment. It expects to be directly POTS connected.

I tried using this as a guide, but my prompts are much different.

What prompts are different, those instructions are on the money

I've setup the three SCL's but now have an error message:

SCH3720
The Speed Call List for the default (0) Pretranslation Calling Group
does not exist.

when I try to CHG FTR enabling PREO??

Thanks for the replies. I figured out my error and have it working now. :)

since all phones default to pretranslaion table 0. best to build that one PRIOR to turning it on.. 1 translates to 1 2 to 2, thru 0 to 0... it's a must to allow non translation sets to keep working..

you do know that ifyou trans 1 to 91 2 to 92 etc. that phone will not callstation to station except via did's

John, what is "pvr.."?

I am not worried about station to station though, since these are special lines connected to an alarm company. I just need to disable the dial 9 first requirement.

PVR means Private Line, but in this context, it means you connect an outside trunk permanently to a station TN. In your application there is no pint in doing it since you could just order a POTS line if you wanted.

The method on my site works perfectly as far as I know. I've used it lots of times. I'd follow the directions to the last detail, trying it again.
