Dial out from call history log on 24xx series phones

Has anyone figured out how to make this feature work? I have a hard time believing Avaya would put the feature there if there wasn't a way to make it work. I've found ARS without FAC, but if I try to set it up in the dial plan, it would appear to only be for inter-extension purposes...

Any ideas?
 
I found that the only way to get it to work is to hit 9 then the call button or 9 1 for longdistance
 
Hi guys,

In the TFTP dir (assuming you have TFTP setup for firmware downloads) there should be a 46xxsettings.txt file. In this file you can set specific parameters for i.e. outcalling, numberplan length etc. etc. You should be able to find one on the Avaya support site (it's not included in the firmware archive)...

Isn't the 46xxsettings.txt file only used for IP Sets?
