Hy,

is it possible to dial a predefined number after time?

A user picks up the handset and can dial as normal. Only when he didn't dial any number this predefined number should be dialed after x seconds.

Thanks in advance

LOL - sounds dodgy - just get the call centre manager to hand out pink slips for staff that dont want to dial!

hehe lol. No it's just just for security reasons. e.g. helpless people.

you can do it, but you cant really get a delay on it. Its lift the handset and dial straight away

If they have vmpro you could.

Have the hotline/hotphone dial a vm module.
(?D\VM Collect\"module1")
In the module, but an option for timeout (x seconds), and an option for $.

Send the $ to a $KEY transfer, and the timeout to reception or whomever.

Dodgy though...relies on a vmpro channel open :)

If you could get by with a single line set, Viking Electronics makes Hotline Dialers that could serve the purpose.

AACon that's exactly what I thought too but it did't work.

The timeout (in menu) transfer works fine. But the $ option takes me back to the menu. I testet it with an announcement in the menu.

It seems that my digits are not recognized

eh...do you have your $ linked to a transfer with a destination of $KEY?

Maybe put an option of 1 in there with a pre-defined transfer to an external number to see if it takes the the digit. watch monitor to see if it sees your digits as well. I mean it *should* work. I've never personally tried it.

Dagnabbit, I need to get a demo kit in here to try these things on.

Ha it got it.

It is mandatory that the user has a shortcode
0N
dial
0N

or whatever you want to dial. Otherwise the IP Office uses ?D everytime...
