Caller dials DID for user A and covers to userA's MM voicemail. Caller presses 0 and is transferred to user
A's Personal Operator - user B. If user B does not answer and the call covers to MM voicemail:

1. Who's voice mail does the caller get to? Customer would like the caller to leave a message for the originally called user A. Is this an option? If so, how is it programmed?

2. Can the caller dial another extension? If so, how is it programmed? It's not feasible for every user to have their own Caller App!

The call will go to user B's mailbox as that is where he call was transfered to.
Does each person have there own 0 out or does mot=re than one user 0 out to the same sta?

If you change the coverage to go to b and then go to VM the call will go to the first dialed number.

Or you can set the oper in B's mailbox to go to a caller app so the caller can dial a different number.

It's the age old problem of answering the phone. If it is lunch then you can change the schedule so they can't 0 out during that time.

1. Each user has their own zero out.

2. Is there not a way to program the system so that the caller ends up in user A's mailbox rather than user B? Supervised Transfer rather than Blind Transfer?

3. I don't want ALL calls to cover from A to B, only transfer callers who request it to the Personal Operator (user B).

This customer used to have an Octel 200, which had very flexible Personal Assistant settings.

H E L P !!!
If I call the original DID for user A and cover to VM and press 0, I get transferred to the Personal Operator
(user B). If user B does not answer and I am forwarded to user B's VM, I can press *8 and enter an extension. HOWEVER, I am not TRANSFERRED to the entered extension. I get the VM of the entered extension.

Is there a way to get TRANSFERRED to the entered extension?
And if it's a Caller App, how is that defined?

In the VMSC what is the telephone user interface set to under the general tab? If the enable auto attendant is not checked then it will send it to the mailbox and not he ext.

Yep, that was the issue. As soon as I enabled the automated attendant, transfer worked. Thanks! :)
