It's just been brought to my attention that one user is not able to get Dial by Name calls. I just tested and confirmed that when entering her name at the prompt it does not find her. Does anyone know of any reasons why this might happen?
Her name is spelled correctly and I did not "ex directory" her. I do believe its the fact the her name isn't recorded yet, I didn't realize this would cause her to not be dialable. I'll try it once she records her name.
A little unrelated, funny experience with DBN. I got a call that one person wasn't working and everything was set up like everyone elses. Then i found out 'Bob' ... presents himself to clients as 'Robert'. Make sure that when dealing with these dual named or nick named individuals that they know that IPO looks for the name thats placed as their User profile.
1's with robert and bob wont even work if you instruct people to do first 3 letters and #. although if you have a lot of those you could just kill dial by first name and only have dial by last name..
