Dial by First Name not working 2

Hi,

We have Avaya i.p. office. customers told me that dial by first name is not working when they call the main phone line and when it goes to voicemail.
Where to check for this issue in i.p. office. what i should be checking for in the config setup of i.p. office.

Any advice is appreciated
 
Turn on first name in the "auto attendant", have the name correctly spelled for the "users", have each users "name" recorded in their mailbox.
 
Number one issue is that users have not recorded their name in their mailbox. If you do not record your name, you are not included in the dial by name directory. i would start there.
