Hi Everyone,

I have intermediate knowledge and experience about NEC Sl2100. Can someone help in configuring a password protection like feature on NEC SL2100 phone incase if I am away from the desk, it can prevent the phone from being used by another person. Kindly waiting for Reply.

It depends on what model phones you are using, the DT430 and DT830 have a security button on the top left of the display. we have a number of free video guides for users of the DT400/800 range on the bottom left of this page:

i have not done it on these older SL2100 sets, but it seems you can set account codes for access at system level:
