Hi All.

I have a customer asking me to set their system so that from customer room phones, they just dial 911, not 9911, as it is now.

I have checked the TRS, exception code entry, they have 911 and 9911.

so with my limited knowledge, Should this not work? Or is there somewhere else I need to look?

Regard

To dial taht you would need to change CO access from 9 to something else.

Create a quick dial so 911 dials trunk access 911

Thanks for the responses guys.

Since I haven't been able to get my boss to get me a course on the Panasonic system (granted these are old), can you please supply what I need to do (and where I need to look to do this).

Sorry for being a pain.

If you can't I'll have to beg Panasonic... if I can find their contact number...

Regards

Hi All.

I just got off the phone with Panasonic and they advised with one of their solutions from support.panasonic.ca solution 2438, that THEY will have to twiddle a bit to make dialing directly 911 available.

So I need to get them a configuration they could change, or get a tech on site to give them remote access.

Hope this helps someone else.

Regards

Hi WhiteGooner:

It is a kx-tda200 used for a motel.

Flexible numbering - other features - change co access from 9 to 7 (if not using tie lines) delete 7 from tie access

Quick dial - add 911 to dial 7911

Ive tested in uk and ok try your end.
