Dial 9 for all lines on PBX mode

Hi i need somne help. I need to re-program my phone system.

I have 3 incoming lines and 15 extensions.

I want to set the system to PBX mode so you must dial 9 to get an outside line BUT i want
101-105 to have only line 1
106-110 to have only line 2
110-112 to have only line 3

100 should have all extensions but a button for each
Is this possible. How do i set this up?

With only 3 lines I would just assign

line 1 to extensions 101-105
line 2 to extensions 106-110
and
line 3 to extensions 110-112

That way, NO ONE has to dial 9, they just go off hook on thier "OUTDIAL" line.

To answer your question, It can almost be done.

You can fix it to where some extensions have access to all 3 lines by dialing 9, some can access only 2 by dialing 9 and some can only access 1 by dialing 9.

Dialing 9 to access 1 of 3 lines by 3 groups is complicated. I would suggest leaving system in key mode and assigning access to the lines based on your groups. The dial 9 feature is usually used for cost effective use of multiple lines in a larger environment. What is your reasoning?

Assign different FRL (Facility Restriction Level) access to each group of phones, and each line.

Default is 3 for both.

Give 1 group of Phones FRL 5, the next 4 and the last 3.

Give line 1 FRL 5, Line 2 FRL 4 and Line 3 FRL 3.

Group 1 can use lines 1, 2 & 3.

Group 2 can use lines 2 & 3, while group 3 can only use line 3.

That's way more complex than I would do it, but it should work.
