Hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to program in a Dial 0 option when reaching someones voicemail to take you directly to the operator? We have a lot of people dial in externally and it would be easier for them to dial 0 to get to the operator if the person they're trying to reach doesn't answer so that way they don't have to hang up and call again. Thanks.

IP Office manager System > voicemail tab > Breakout option 0 fill in the reception internal number

Is there a way to have this option apply to all users or do I have to set it up by extension to extension?

Did you look and press f1?
It is a system wide option but if I am correct can also be setup per user but you have to take a look yourself.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

yes
System/Voicemail or user rights
it should all be documented in the Help filed (Press f1 & search breakout)

I looked through the help file and it said to go to system/voicemail in the configuration settings but I can't find where to go to get to the configuration settings. Sorry I'm still rather new at this.

Nevermind found it. Thanks for your help everyone.

Actually one more thing. When I set up the DTMF breakout, it only transfer to their voicemail box and doesn't ring their extension. Is there a way to get it to ring the extension as opposed to going straight into that extensions voicemail?

It should ring so the setup is not correct i think.

Well all I did was go into the DMTF breakout option under my extension to test it out and put in a random extension for the 0 option. I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong but it doesn't seem that hard to do where I could possibly not be doing something right.

1st your SC is incorrect, the feature should be DialExtn
2nd it is unnecessary for VM Breakout (it is possibly usefull for an internal 0 for operator but may break outdialing if you do not have a line access code)

The extn adderd in the DTMF breakout needs to be a valid user or group, if that user or group is busy you will return to the Mailbox orf the original user.
