Hi guys...

I'm looking to diable the agents ability to use conferencing on a 4622 station.

I've had a look and i can't find anything, does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers,
Chris

Not sure of the question. Do you have a conference bridge on 4622 that other people use? If so and the Agents can not dial that number more than likely a COR problem. Change one of the Agent ID's COR to a Cor that can dial and try it again. If that fixes the problem then correct the Agent's COR so it will work. If that is not what the question is please try to clarify it.

the problem is...

we have agents that are using conference to transfer calls instead of transfer. they put themselves on mute and it saves them taking another call (they mute themselves so the caller and the off site third party they transfer to don't realise they are on the call). Making sense? :)

what i want to do is disable the conference button on all agents phones. i know i can disable conferencing for the whole site but i'm unsure if i can do it for specific phones.

Thanks,
Chris

You could try to take the option of mute off. First page to the right.

Might frighten them off.

hmmm that could be an idea... will discuss with the ops guys...

the only problem i can see is if they disconnect the headset using the quick disconnect, this would effectively mute them and would still keep them on the call

Yea, i see your problem.

They are a bit too sneaky by half.

indeed they are... need to be more cunning than a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University to catch them out...
