Hi

I have Avaya CM 5.2 and lot of 9620 IP phones and everything works fine
Then we decided to by some new phones and we decided to buy 1608, but now I have problem with starting them

Current DHCP option for phones looks like

MCIPADD=10.0.0.38,10.0.0.6 MCPORT=1719,HTTPSRVR=10.0.0.6,HTTPDIR=/tftpboot,L2Q=1,L2QVLAN=121

and everything works fine for 9620 phones

But when I put 1608 in that subnet it get stuck and it can not start
So, we changed DHCP options to

MCIPADD=10.0.0.38,10.0.0.6 MCPORT=1719,TLSSRVR =10.0.0.6,HTTPDIR=/tftpboot,L2Q=1,L2QVLAN=121

and now phone gets good IP address, but on display I get
HTTPS: 1
and after that

HTTPS 1 -905

and after that

No FileSv address

I get this errors on both phone types - 9620 and 1608

Can someone help me to configure DHCP option so both phones could work in same VLAN?

thanks in advance

thanks

no progress [sad]

same behavior as before

Hi

I have some files on a server downloaded from ftp.avaya.com

What exactly should I check?

Sounds like you are missing the 1600 series firmware on your server. Have you downloaded all the recent software from support.avaya.com? You'll need to add the files to your Http file server.
