I have a Windows 2k Server Reporting:
All 50 addresses in pool are currently in use when in fact I only have 28 nodes at that location.
What I have done so far:
1. Cleared the DHCP Pool
2. Stopped and restarted DHCP Services.
3. Verified that in fact I only had 23 Addresses Leased.
4. Rebooted Server.
5. Searched Vigorously through the MSDN and will continue my search til I find a resolution.
The Server is for my Police Department and I have about 5 nodes that cannot gain access.
Also Once I cleared the DHCP Pool the Server is still reporting 27 Addresses in use.
As if I had Reserved those addresses or put them in "another location that I cannot clear.
Any Light that can be brought on this attention would be greatly appreciated.
