I have DHCP running on server 2003. When I look at it I see the name of my computer and the given ip address and then a Unique ID. However, if I connect via remote desktop then I see that a bunch more ip addresses are being handed out and they all say the name of my server and the unique id is RAS. Can someone explain what this means?

Thanks,

J

When you connect via RDP do you use VPN against your network? If so all this other is ID of all RRAS connections. Relax nothing is wrong with your server. If you look in your RRAS console and under VPN you will notice a bounch of diffirent vpn connection. All this is printed out when you type IPCONFIG.

kind regards
Ali

I'm actually attempting to get VPN set up, but can't seem to get it yet (I think it is my router). Thanks for the info!
