Dhcp Jet Writer failure

Our backup has failed with the following error:

This VSS writer ( Dhcp Jet Writer ) had reported a failure on the thaw event.

Can someone please let me know what that means and what I can do to stop it from happening?

This is a Microsoft error - try researching it on the Microsoft site.
