Using Windows NT Server there is an issue with the DHCP manager.
Everyday there is BAD_ADDRESS appearing beside the IP resulting in no available IP addresses. What exactly is causing this to happen.
Approx 170 users on network.
Actually I think I've figured it out.
Some of the users have static IPs in the excluded address
list and then the DHCP tries giving this address to the user causing a IP caonflict and BAD_ADDRESS error.
Well thats what I think at the moment, I could be wrong. I'll find out after checking every single machine manually.
Make sure that you look at the DHCP server and reserve the IP addresses that are being used for static IP's so it won't try to assign those addresses to other PCs.
