Can anyone recommend a device that will handle multiple simulatneous ipsec sessions initiated by cisco software clients to an external cisco vpn 3000 concentrator?

i used to use the nexland product, but they've been bought out by symantec, and i'm not sure if they're continuing the product line.

for small locations using dsl and more than one client machine, this is an inexpensive alternative to the cisco 3002 hardware client.

thanks, joe.

thanks, i'll try that. the last time i tried linksys router, it did not work, which is why i had to go with nexland, but this updated product sounds right.

You might also try the SMC7004FW. It handles 10 IPSEC sessions and will also do 20 PPTP sessions as a client or server. The thing I like about it is you can even use the Windows VPN clients to connect to it if its setup as a server. Also FYI you have to update the firmware to get 10 IPSEC the original Firmware supported 4.

well i'm giving up on these cheap devices and going ahead with the cisco3002. the two devices i tried, netgear and linksys both did not have configurations that worked with the cisco3000 concentrator. they also did not allow simultaneous ipsec sessions from software clients to our cisco3000.

thanks for the suggestions.
joe.
