Device Manager Missing

Hi all,

I think this maybe related to SP2 but not positive.

We have a PC running Windows XP Pro that boots up as normal but then when you go to device manager, there are no details of any hardware just a failed internet explorer screen. There are no messages just this screen within the device manager window.

Any help would be much appreciated.
