Develop on NT, Deploy on Unix? 1

Is it possible to develop a database on an NT machine, then deploy it on a Unix machine? Not talking about importing data between two existing databases, rather, creating it new on the NT machine, then moving the whole mess to a unix machine. Is this possible / feasible ?

In a word, no. The closest you can come is to create separate databases on both NT and Unix. Then, when you're ready to deploy, take an export on NT and import it to Unix.
