Dev Documentation Solutions Needed

I've very recently inherited responsibility for a large and organizationally significant app. It was built in VFP half a dozen years ago by some other developers, and has been very extensively tweaked, modded, debottlenecked, and otherwise seriously poked and prodded since then. They never documented it(either end user or developer - even at code line level) at the time of creation, and has not been documented in the interim either. The best I can find is a log file of (probably not all) changes, with little useful data (who instigated, who made change, when).

Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions, solutions (Thank You!) that allow me to get a reasonable enough documentation package together for other developers so that they can carry on without too much trauma and organizational dislocation in the event that the original developers quit, get hit by a bus, or want to negotiate a tripling of their salaries?

HI
What version of the VFP, the application relies on? SInce you say 6 years before... the application must have seen VFP version 3 onwards. Has it been upgraded to current level?.

1. You can use the documentatioon wizard coming with VFP and create some documentation. I dont know if this is sufficient. It all depends on how well the cource code is commented.
2. You can search for an 'AUTOMANUAL' which you can download and try if it works on your package.

Hope this helps you :)

Is there some type of software out there where I can automatically document a Visual flow of what a method is doing. I would like to pull in a method and have the software create a visulal flow (model) of it is doing. I have tried Visio and some a couple other UML's software packages, but I dont necessarily want a diagram of all the components, I want it to creat a visual flow of the method.
Thnx
