I can sign in to SSMS with windows authentication as an administrator.
I don't want to change the sa password, I just find out what it is if possible.
I've seen many ways to try and recover or change it but would rather just find out what it is.
Is there a way to do this?
I can see this might not be possible due to security reasons.

Your best approach would be to create another login (not sa) that has sa permissions. Of course, with a password that you know.

Thanks George, I may go that route.
