hi:

Can anyone tell me how do i determine the model of the motherboard that my system is using without going through the hassle of opening up the case of each and every one of the PC in my company?

Thanks

Go to click on motherboard ID and look for a file named amibid, if this is to difficult on bootup press f8 and the bios interface will give you the name on the top of the user inter face screen.

Hope this helps, [thumbsup]

When you first boot up look at the bottom left of your screen for the bios string. it will be a long string of letters and #'s and .'s if you have a logo screen like intel or gateway or whatever press the esc key to see the screen with the bios string this is an example of an Intel bios string GB85010A.86A.00zz.Pzz once you have this info go to motherboards.org and they have a bios string search engine that should be able to give you the info you are looking for.
