I downloaded the Macromedia Flash Player Dedployment kit to have a play with it, and I found it didn't work (at least not as I expected it to) on IE5 for PC (kind of an important one, I would have thought!). It tried to load the Flash content even though Flash isn't installed, and then gives a dialogue box asking if I want to download Flash. If I press "no", as many users might, it crashes the browser. I also tried it on IE5 for PC with Flash installed and it said Flash wasn't detected. Anyone know a better way?

Yeah, I have heard this is good, but it can be tricky with projects where you have to assign copyright of everything to your client. The Moock detector insists (rightly enough) that if you use it you give © acknowledgement to its creator... it's a tricky one!

Well! Nothing's perfect!
But... Wonder why, if their's is so bad, Macromedia doesn't feel challenged by Moock's script?
Thought for the night!
