BROOKS no argument??????? Translation please.

If you're not keeping/re-using the hard drive, drilling holes through the platters sure does the trick. Also, for the redneck gun owners among us - target practice will clean things off the drive quite nicely.

lol ya know,
the magnents hold all the art work from the kids on the fridge and the platters...I went to the hardware store and got the stick-on feet and made them in to coasters for the ole' coffee cup

I really need to pull apart a few of the old drives sitting around my place (not useful anymore), and come up with some experiments with my 3 year old son. He'd be EXCITED with anything we do like that, especially if I tell him it's from computers! Of course, we'll be careful. For instance, "No, son, that is NOT a frisbee." [thumbsup2]

Hmmm. I can think of a few better ways (and way more fun). Expensive and you need lots of room.. Ok, like an outdoor shooting range. And a barrett .50 cal sniper rifle, at around 100 yards or so. Probably wouldn't find much of the drive left. Like I said, expensive, but fun....

Stop, you're making me cry. I'm on a 1/3 of an acre, and some folks think I have a big yard. [sadeyes]

But I know some folks on whose property I could do such... but I'd have to borrow one of their guns for it, as I aint got nothin' that nifty on the gun side. [smile]

I've done THAT much damage with a hammer and crowbar. If you really wanted to buy something, just buy a hole saw and put it on your drill - same result as that machine.

Imagine all the juicy tidbits that are being lost..... every day. The mind boggles.

Hi

My 50 Caliber Muzzle loader would really make small pieces out of it too!

And in less then 15 seconds.

Nocandu,
BIG difference between a modern .50 cal round vs your black powder round. AND the Barrett can put out a hell of a lot more firepower, at a hell of a lot longer distance than your .50 cal black poweder rifle can.

and just for the fun of it:

How to ask a question, when posting them to a professional forum.
Only ask questions with yes/no answers if you want "yes" or "no"

I'm still betting that you won't be able to find all the parts after the 50 caliber ball goes through it! LOL
