I currently have Windows 7 Professional, Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and Internet Explorer 8.
Back when I had Win XP, Adobe 8 Pro and IE 8, I created Destinations in my Adobe document and included the Destinations in an URL. Then clicking on the URL would correctly open to the correct page of my Adobe document. I used the following format for my URL:
For example, my Destination called Schedule was on page 71, so the link above would correctly open to page 71 of my Adobe document. The document would open in the IE browser. Great.
But after we upgraded to Windows 7 Professional, Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, (still have Internet Explorer 8), it no longer works...it opens to page 1. I noticed the document no longer opened in the IE browser, it would open in Adobe. So to try to force Adobe to open in a web browser, in Adobe, I went to Edit, Preferences, Internet and checked “Display PDF in browser”. But then I get a message: "The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running can not be used to view PDF files in a Web Browser. Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required. Please exit and try again." So with that option checked, i can't open any Adobe documents at all.
Any ideas?
Thanks
