My mother-in-law has broken her laptop screen and I have to help (do I really have any choice? )ANy way the part I'm looking for is:

SHARP LM12S481 HPA came from a HP Pavilion 3210. Display Spec from HP - 12.1 inch (800 x 600 x 64 K colors) SVGA HPA

I have searched the i-net high and low but no luck. Any help out there?

TIA

The two rules for success are:
1. Never tell them everything you know.

Cant help you on finding that perticular part but I can offer a teporary solution. Hook up her laptop to a cheap monitor untill you find the screen you're looking for. good 14" color svga monitors go used for about 30 buck at a used computer store.

Also while you're looking at the used computer store for a cheap monitor ask about the panel for the laptop there, those store may have alot of crap but they have alot of good stuff aswell (if you dare to walk in and ask).
