hi,

I really need help resetting a nortel mox16.

I unplugged a BT NTE1a no i'm unable to get an outside line. Really need some help and advice.

MOX16 is a 16 port digital add-on station module to a 0X32 or 8X24 that allows for 16 more ports.

NTE is your circuit/lines?

So not sure why if you unplugged the NTE why you now want to reset the M0X16, what does one have to do with the other?

You should call BT right away if its a BT supplied box that has issues.
Red lights mean call BT!!!

Sounds like a flaky box (since issue on reboot) or wiring somewhere.

I thought it was a PRI box (pair gain here)
After some reading the NTE might be our version of MCK, a digital extender?.
Simple test is to bring the station module to the KSU and go direct.
Otherwise the NTE or the cable between the NTE and the KSU has an issue.

Hi,

Since the last update I now have a amber light next to Cust, no light next to bt and a green light next to pwr.

I still have no outgoing lines
 
misseditbythatmuch - how can I go into maintenance have no manual? Will it accept a telnet connection?

How can I perform diagnostics on the switch?
 
You need to call in a tech if you have no idea on troubleshooting, programming, navigation or passwords (passwords not permitted here).

You also have not answered the questions if extender or circuit.....you keep mentioning outgoing lines yet so concerned with the 0X16 instead.

curlycord - yeah i'm in the process of finding one, there is no service agreement in place on the kit. So any further advice would be appreciated
