Desktopmgr.exe has generated errors on Outlook 2003

I have seen a few instances when the error pops up when launching Blackberry Desktop Manager
"DesktopMgr.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log in being created"

I have only seen this when the person is using Outlook 2003. I tried uninstalling the BDM and reinstall no luck. I fixed it once with an uninstall/reinstall of both Outlook 2003 and BDM. It fixed it once but not the other. I have not seen any other mentions of this problem anywhere.

Anyone have a clue?
 
Had it once when trying to manually create an encryption key using the Desktop Manager on a laptop over a 56K dialup connection. Thought it may have been a latency problem.

This is the only occasion I have seen it.
 
Hmmm... there is a service pack for the desktop , this will clean out the bugs. Goto Blackberry.net and down load this SP then you'll be ok. Good luck
 
Hi, I have the same problem. I have Blackberry 7510 and RIM 957. I have the latest software on black berry as well as on PC with the latest patch. I spoke to the technical support many times but still no solution. If you guys have solved this problem then it will be a great help if you can guide me. I am using Outlook 2000.
