thank you. I did go to that folder, but it's only showing me the pre-installed backgrounds. Also, I went to IE options and did not see a box with the "set as background", or user profile. Is the profile in windows?
The beginning of your post was garbled, so I'm not sure if I missed a link.
Thanks for the try.
Fred
Sorry "b", but I don't see anything I can use, and I'm chicken to go to the registry.
It seems like there should be an easier way to find the pix in a file and be able to delete them. Also, I'm using XP pro and the thread seems to be for home edition. I'm simply not advanced enough to understand.
Some of the backgrounds that are pre-installed are bitmap and some are jpeg. My downloads are jpeg.
I wonder why they were'nt in the web/wallpaper folder.
Is there something I can do to keep this from happening?
OK "B", that did the trick. I simply moved them to my 2nd drive , which I maintain anyway and that did it.
Thanks a bunch.
Now, can you direct this dummy to a spot where I can set it, so it won't happen again?
