Desktop speaker sound issue 2

when ever i try to play a song or when ever the speakers produce a sound it sounds higher in pitch... like the chipmunks are singin the song to me or somethin any hints?

Try a new sound card, better speakers, check for updated drivers.

in device manager, do you see the correct Driver ?
or in control Panel \ Sounds..|Audio |Sound Playback|Preferred Device)

(corresponding at the physical device)

Sometime, installation of some driver (chipset, or other)
done previously than audio driver, may lead confusion:
chipset take control of audio, and does not it in the right way.
