Hi,
After installing a driver for an Adsl modem 1/3 of my desktop has become blue and it seems "impossible" to delete the icon of the new adsl connection; do you think it is reasonable launching the "last good known..." or can you suggest me any possible solution. Thanks in advance.

If you have already restrted and logged on then "last known good" might help. Otherwise I would go into safe mode and remove the divce and driver.

The "Last Known Good" configuration will not work in your case. As soon as you boot into Windows Successfully the "Last Known Good" settings are change to reflect that configuration. Therefore as you have booted into windows ok using the "Last Known Good" will make no difference.

You would be better off using system restore. Start > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.

This will allow you to return your system to a previous date.
